Ms. Avishki Perera has graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English. She is a lecturer attached to the Department of English and Modern Languages at NSBM Green University.

She has been actively involved in higher education through teaching, curriculum development, and academic administration. Her teaching expertise includes academic writing, business communication, professional communication, English language teaching, and communication studies. She has also contributed to programme development and curriculum enhancement initiatives within the university.

Her research interests encompass English literature, feminist literary criticism, gender studies, Sri Lankan English literature, female agency, marginal voices, identity, spatiality in literature, postcolonial studies, and contemporary literary theory. She has presented her research at national and international academic conferences and continues to contribute to scholarly discussions within these fields.

She is committed to promoting critical inquiry, effective communication, and academic excellence while contributing to the advancement of English language education and literary studies.
