“UPSURGE” is a platform where renowned corporate leaders, researchers, academics and economists share their expertise with the undergraduates organized monthly since 2021 by the Department of Economics and Decision Sciences of the Faculty of Business. This time the UPSURGE 20th Chapter was held on 8th March 2023 at the NSBM Auditorium as a collaboration with the Professional Advancement Center (PAC) of Faculty of Business with the esteemed presence of Mr. Ruwan Keragala, Cheif-Operating Officer of MAS Intimates (Pvt) Ltd as the Guest speaker where he enlightened the students with a very interactive session called “Dream Big, Aim High- Path to Success”.
The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean Faculty of Business, Ms. Sashini Gayanika, Head, Department of Economics and Decision Sciences, Mr. Chandima Gayan Yapa, Lecturer and the lecturer in charge of Professional Advancement Centre, Mr. Rushdi Hadhi, Manager NFORCE and other academic staff members of the Faculty of Business.
