The inauguration of UGC approved NSBM MBA and PGD Programmes for the year 2019 was held today 18th of August 2019 at NSBM Auditorium. Mostly working professionals started their postgraduate journey on the day. Over two hundred professionals from different fields were enrolled and participated in the inauguration ceremony and the lecture will commence on the 24th of August 2019.
The event was held with the participation of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake. Mr. Athula Pathinayake, the Executive Director – Centre on the Legal Profession, Deakin University, Melbourne Australia delivered an inspiring keynote speech at the event.
Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean School of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Programme Director PGD Programmes, Prof. Ganga Karunathilaka, Head of Marketing Mr. Chiranjeewa Atapattu, Senior internal and external Academics also grazed the event.
After the main Inauguration, the faculty orientation MBA and PGD Programmes for the year 2019 was conducted by Programme Director PGD Programmes, Prof. Ganga Karunathilaka and the Head of Marketing Mr. Chiranjeewa Atapattu. Attending Orientation gave the best possible start to the new course and allow students to meet other students and important staff in the faculty, learn about the services available to help their study. This finds students way around campus and generally feel comfortable about starting on their Postgraduate and MBA path.
