Ms. Tharani Sooriyaarachchi graduated from the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce, University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting (first-class honours). She completed her MBA at the Postgraduate Institute of Management, Sri Lanka. She is also a passed finalist of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), United Kingdom. Prior to joining NSBM, she pursued a career as a Financial Planning Analyst at Richard Pieris and Company PLC, a leading business conglomerate in Sri Lanka. She contributes to the university as the Research Coordinator for the Business Management (Special) Degree programmes. She currently lectures in Financial Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, and Management Accounting.
