Prasanshika Navodani, is a graduate from the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, under the Department of Tourism Management, Faculty of Management Studies securing a First-Class in BSc. (Hons) in Tourism Management and the Mr. and Mrs. K.M. Ratnayake Gold Medal for the best performance and the highest final grade point average. She is currently serving as a temporary lecturer attached to the Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University, delivering modules in Tourism Management. She has published the Research Abstract for the title “The Relationship between Job Role Stress and Job Performance of Non-Managerial Employees in Travel Agencies in Sri Lanka” at the 4th Interdisciplinary Conference of Management Researchers (ICMR) – 2019.
She has also served as the Captain and Vice-Captain (women) of the University Karate Team of the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in the years 2018 and 2017 and brought honour to Sri Lanka by achieving an international Victory in KATA Event (Women) of KBI International Karate Championship 2017-18 organized by Karate Budokan Federation of India. Also, she has achieved all-island victories in School Level Dancing and Music Competitions in the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and won the award for the “The Most Talented & Disciplined Student – Senior Section” of Maliyadeva Adarsha Maha Vidyalaya. As an individual with a passion in lecturing, her research interests lie in the areas of Tourism Management.
