Profile

Ms. Menaka Gamage graduated from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura with a First Class in BSc. Business Administration (special) and obtained a Masters from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Currently, she is reading for her PhD at the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

She received the merit award from PIM, University of Sri Jayewardenepura for her academic excellence in the Master of Business Administration. She scored the highest marks for the MBA thesis “Investigation of Impact of Social Norms on Knowledge Sharing among the Software Practitioners in Sri Lanka.

She is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA UK). She was awarded the gold medal for scoring the highest marks in her CIMA (UK) qualification. She has gained exposure to Finance practices from MAS Holdings and currently serves as an academic attached to the Faculty of Business with four years of experience in academia. She lectures modules related to International Business Management and Strategic Management.

Her research interests are in Knowledge Management, International Business Management and Entrepreneurship. She has published in International Conferences and Journals.
