Ms. Ashendra Konara is a Temporary Lecturer attached to the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Design Studies. She has completed B.Sc. (Hons) in Quantity Surveying, with a First Class Honours from University of Moratuwa. She is currently planning to do an MPhil at University of Moratuwa. Prior to joining NSBM, she has worked in the industry as a Quantity Surveyor at Access Engineering PLC and State Engineering Coorporation of Sri Lanka.

She has done the research on “Adoptability of Intelligent Transportation Systems in Sri Lanka”. Being an academic, her research interest areas are Sustainability and Green Building, Smart City Concept, Risk Management, and Quantity Surveying Education.
