“The Economic Knowledge Park 2.0 – The journey around the world of economies” is an academic exhibition organized by 22.2 University of Plymouth batch of NSBM Green University in collaboration with the Department of Economics and Decision Sciences, Faculty of Business. The project is designed as an integral part of the Macroeconomics module. The undergraduates made creative exhibits to demonstrate the economic overview, economic history, current situation and development plans of 34 prominent countries in the world. 

The exhibition was held on 28th June 2023 at the Faculty of Business premises. The keynote speech was delivered by a prominent economist, Mr.Dhananath Fernando, the Chief Executive Officer of Advocata; an economic policy think tank in Sri Lanka. The Department of Economics and Decision Sciences launched the publications of the Macroeconomics textbook and study guide for Microeconomics during the inauguration ceremony. 

The occasion was graced by the Vice Chancellor, Prof.E.A Weerasinghe, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof.Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean, Faculty of Business, Ms.Thilini De Silva, Head of the Department of Economics and Decision Sciences, Mr.Kasun Dissanayake, lecturers of the Department of Economics and Decision Sciences, Ms. Sunari Bandara and Ms. Tharushi Piyumali along with the other academic staff members.
