NSBM Rugby Team, crowned the champions of the Rugby Showdown 2024 organized by the CINEC Campus Rotaract Club, proudly presented the Championship Trophy to the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, on February 15th, 2024, at the university premises.

The occasion was marked by an overwhelming sense of pride as the Vice Chancellor commended the team for their enduring success in continuing to bring respect to the university.

This victorious team was led by the captain, Dinil Akash, Vice-Captain Lasaan Pathirana, and Acting Vice Captain, Tharisha Widanage, under the guidance of the MICs of NSBM Rugby – Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa and Lecturer of Faculty of Business, Ms. Shehani Joseph.
