This paper focuses on the gaming community’s unique linguistic usage of the English language. For this purpose, the researcher peruses online corpuses available within RPG sites and general online gaming dictionaries, in order to ascertain if there is an influence on the day-to-day interactive communications among gamers in Sri Lanka.
