“Rasoga” the largest live-in concert hosted for the first time by the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering (CSSE) of Faculty of Computing was concluded on a successful musical note on 16th February 2023 at NSBM Open Air Theatre.
This sensational music event was organised with the prime motive of recognising the contributions of graduated seniors to the faculty, creating a network among FOC graduates and undergraduates to increase opportunities in the industry, and improving the emotional well-being of the students.
“Rasoga” was graced with the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans – Faculty of Business, Ms. ThiliNI De Silva, Deans – Faculty of Computing, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Deans – Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Chandana Perera, Head of Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Ms. Pavithra Subashini, heads of the departments, academics, non-academic staff and undergraduates of NSBM.
In conjunction with this event, the Faculty of Computing also conducted a Student Appreciation and network-building session at the faculty premises.
