NSBM Green University announced its formal MoU sign up with OREL IT for its Industry Partnership Programme. NSBM ‘Industry Partnership Program’ is designed to optimize synergies among the Industry Partners and NSBM in relation to Entry Level Talent Acquisition (Internship / Training), Employer Brand Building, Knowledge Sharing, Corporate Brand Building, Special Projects, Incubation / Entrepreneurship Development and Talent Acquisition of fresh graduates.
Orel IT (Pvt) Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of Orel Corporation Ltd. which is Sri Lanka’s largest private-sector IT solutions provider having its officers in four locations of the country namely Nawinna, Kadawatha, Galle and Kurunagala.
The MoU was signed between Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University and Dr. Upendra Pieris, Chief Executive Officer and witnessed by Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development & QA, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dean of Faculty of Computing, Mr. Mohomed Shafraz, Senior Lecturer of Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, and Ms. Pavithra Subashini, Head of Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering represented NSBM Green University and Mr. Kalinda Wickramage, Chief Marketing Officer represented Orel IT at the occasion.
