The International Centre for Cultural Exchange (ICCE) orchestrated Spook’23, a Halloween extravaganza on the 31st of October 2023, that left attendees spellbound. The event was graced by the presence of distinguished guests, including the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, and the Head of the Department of English and Modern Languages, Ms. Piyumi Wickramasinghe.  

The event drew the attention of many students, each embracing the Halloween spirit with creative costumes. Spook’23 offered an opportunity for students to unleash their creativity and showcase their unique Halloween attire. The Halloween Costume Competition was the highlight of the day. 

The Haunted House Competition was the ultimate test of courage. Students ventured into the chilling darkness, where phantoms, ghouls, and surprises lurked in every corner. The competition sparked excitement and sent shivers down spines. Adding to the eerie ambience, a horror movie played on the big screen, captivating the audience and taking them on a cinematic journey through fear and suspense. 

Spook’23 showcased a blend of cultural exchange and Halloween magic, casting a spell of enchantment over all who attended.
