The undergraduates following the Bsc Business Communication degree programme at NSBM visited the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art on 18^th January 2023 for a guided tour. The museum visit was an important component of their Culture and Society module as it provided insight into the Sri Lankan culture.During the visit, the students were able to receive an informative guided tour of what the museum currently has on its Rotation 3 of the exhibition ‘Encounters’ which speaks about gender, suffering, sacrifice, and Sri Lankan politics and their socio-cultural aspects through artworks by modern and contemporary Sri Lankan artists. The mediums range from conventional oil-on-canvas painting to photography, video, ephemera, magazines, and installation art.
