Unilever, Nestle, John Keells Holdings, MAS Holdings, Brandix, Dialog Axiata PLC, CBL Group, Hayleys PLC, Dilmah, EFL Global, Asian Paints- Causeway, Union Assurance PLC, and Accenture partnered with the Faculty of Business of NSBM Green University, for the signature grooming program conducted by the faculty named, C2C – Campus to Corporate.
Since stepping into the corporate world from campus is the most significant transformation in a student’s life, NSBM Green University purposely designed this C2C program to hold annually and invites the top corporates in the country to groom the NSBM undergraduates who are about to go for their internship which is the first ever corporate exposure for them.
C2C 2022 was a 10-day programme which was jointly organized by the Professional Advancement Center (PAC) of the Faculty of Business and NSBM for Career & Entrepreneurship (NFORCE) in which the corporates conduct two types of sessions. First, an overview of career opportunities available in different degree programs, and a session on what is expected from an intern who is stepping into the corporate. The keynote speech of C2C 2022 was done by Mr. Sohan Patrick, Business Director, Group Business Development & Growth, MAS.
Programme also comprised a series of sessions conducted by eminent personnel from top corporates on specific areas among the disciplines of study.
- Accounting & Finance – Mr. Ruwan Rodrigo, Vice President – Finance, Union Assurance, & Mr. Karthigeyan Jegatheeswaran, Deputy General Manager, Accenture.
- International Business – Mr. Roshan Tissaaratchy, Director, Dilmah, and Mr. Mahesh Kaluarachchi, HR Manager, CBL.
- Project Management – Ms. Chanukah Gunawardena, Unit Manager, Talent Acquisition, Dialog.
- Industrial Management – Mr. Ovin De Silva, Assistant Vice President, John Keells Holdings and, by Asian Paints team including Mr. Kushan Amarasinghe, National Operations Head, Mr.Muditha Shanaka, Head of Logistics, Mr. Rohan Vipula, Head of Health, Safety and Environment and Mr.Darshana Nawarathna, Senior Production Manager.
- HR – Mr. Dilhan Fernando, General Manager Human Resources, Brandix and Ms. Tahanee Harris, Assistant Manager, Talent & Employer Branding, Unilever.
- Operations & Logistics – Ms. Rovina Vandersay, Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, Nestle and Mr. Shakeer Miskin, Senior Operations Analyst, EFL Global and his team.

- Personal Grooming – Ms. Uththara Kapugamage, Assistant Manager, Employer Branding & Talent Acquisition, Union Assurance.
Two other sessions were done by in-house resource persons of NSBM. A session on CV Preparation and Interview Facing was done by Mr. Mohamed Rushdi Hadhi, Manager – Career Guidance, and Session for Dining Etiquette was done by Mr. Lasitha De Silva, Lecturer, Faculty of Business.
At the end of the grooming sessions, all students were given a chance to take part in mock interview sessions. These mock interviews were conducted by all the lecturers of the Faculty of Business.
