“රඟහල 2022”, the annual event organized by the Literature Circle of NSBM was held on 1st September 2022 at NSBM Auditorium, focusing on traditional stage dramas given that the young generation is losing the value of the old art forms.
The event was conducted in collaboration with the Music Club, Drama Club as well as Dancing Club, highlighting the key theme of stage dramas. During the event, two-stage dramas written and directed by the talented members of the Literature Circle were presented. Mr. Jagath Chamila, a renowned, award-winning actor, participated in “රඟහල 2022” as the Chief Guest and inspired the young generation of passionate artists in all aesthetic clubs of the University.
The show was graced with the honourable presence of the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the faculties, Heads of the departments, Head of Student Affairs, Mr Kasun Dissanayake, academics, non-academic staff and NSBM undergraduates.
